Jessica Connor, LCSW
Primary Therapist – License Number 27703
Jessica Connor graduated from Columbia University in 2005 with a Masters in Social Work and began her career in NYC working in a highly supervised long term psychiatric hospital serving some of the city’s most troubled youth. After relocating to California in 2007 she continued to gain experience providing individual, group and family therapy at the Center for Discovery in their dual-diagnosis residential program until accepting a position at UCI Medical Center. A majority of her time at UCI was spent working as the primary therapist in the Neuropsychiatric Center’s Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. She also provided social work services in the adolescent and adult psychiatric inpatient units and in the Medical Center’s Psychiatric ER and Level 1 Trauma Center.
Prior to joining the team at Nsight, Jessica had been working the past 3 years in full time private practice, providing weekly outpatient therapy to adolescents, adults and families. She has extensive experience and specialized interest in treating Anxiety Disorders including OCD, Phobias and Panic, Chemical Dependency, Self-Harm, Adolescent Issues, Eating Disorders and Mood Disorders. She incorporates a range of interventions from different therapeutic treatments tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Her goal as therapist is to build a trusting and supportive relationship which will allow for self-exploration and growth. She hopes that in the process of self-discovery her clients will be able to identify and gain the skills needed to remove whatever barriers stand between them and reaching their full potential.
